Our Story
Nyxhora was born out of frustration. As a developer and creator, our founder Shekhar Pachlore found himself juggling multiple apps just to record a simple tutorial — OBS for recording, Camtasia for editing, another tool for captions, and a dozen browser tabs for small utilities. Each app had a monthly fee. None of them worked in the browser. It was exhausting.
The core insight was simple: most creators — especially students, educators, indie makers, and small teams — don't need enterprise complexity. They need fast, reliable tools that work instantly in the browser. No installation. No configuration. No credit card required.
We built Nyxhora starting with a browser-native screen recorder and video editor that could rival desktop software. Record your screen, add auto captions, edit on a multi-track timeline, and export in any format — all without leaving your browser.
Over time, we added 35+ online productivity tools: clocks with ambient sounds, password generators, QR code makers, markdown editors, and more. Each tool was designed to be the best version of itself on the internet — fast, clean, and privacy-respecting. No data sent to servers. No tracking. Just the tool.
