Workspace Management
Learn how to manage your workspaces and team members effectively.
Workspaces are the foundation of your Nyxhora experience. Each workspace is a separate container for your team's content, settings, and members.
- Click on your current workspace name in the sidebar
- Select "Create New Workspace"
- Enter a name for your workspace
- Add a description (optional but recommended)
- Click "Create"
Collaboration is at the heart of Nyxhora. Here's how to invite team members to your workspace:
- Navigate to your workspace and click on the "Settings" icon in the sidebar
- Select the "Members" tab
- Click "Invite Members"
- Choose between generating an invitation link or code
- Set the role for new members (Admin or Member)
- Optionally, set an expiration time for the invitation
- Share the generated link or code with your team members
When team members use your invitation link or code, they'll be automatically added to your workspace after signing in.
Nyxhora offers different roles to help you manage access within your workspace:
Admin
- Can invite and remove members
- Can change workspace settings
- Can create, edit, and delete all content
- Can manage roles of other members
- Has full access to all workspace features
Member
- Can create new content
- Can edit and delete their own content
- Can view content shared with them
- Cannot change workspace settings
- Cannot manage other members
Changing Roles
- Go to Workspace Settings Members
- Find the member whose role you want to change
- Click on the role dropdown next to their name
- Select the new role
- Confirm the change
You can customize various aspects of your workspace through the Settings panel:
General Settings
- Workspace name and description
- Workspace icon and color theme
- Default view preferences
Security Settings
- Content sharing permissions
- External access controls
- Invitation link management
Activity Log
The Activity tab in workspace settings shows a chronological list of all actions taken within the workspace, including:
- Content creation and modification
- Member additions and removals
- Setting changes
- Sharing activities
If you belong to multiple workspaces, you can easily switch between them:
Method 1: Using the Dropdown
- Click on your current workspace name in the top navigation bar
- A dropdown will appear showing all your workspaces
- Select the workspace you want to switch to
Method 2: Using the Sidebar
- Look for the "Switch Workspace" button at the bottom of the sidebar
- Click it to see a list of all your workspaces
- Select the workspace you want to access
