Here is exactly how the privacy architecture works: RECORDING: Uses the browser's MediaRecorder API to capture screen, webcam, and audio as a media stream. ENCODING: WebCodecs encodes the media stream to MP4 (H.264) or WebM directly in the browser. No server involved. STORAGE: Encoded data is stored in IndexedDB — the browser's local database. This is the same storage used by offline web apps. PROCESSING: AI features (captions, noise removal, background removal) run using WebAssembly models locally. The models download once (30-50MB) then run entirely on your device. EXPORT: When you click export, the browser constructs the file and triggers a download to your device. UPLOAD: There is no upload. There is no server. There is no cloud. The application is a static website — HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WASM models. No backend, no database, no API calls for recording data.
