Nyxhora CleanSweep Support
Contact us
Email support@nyxhora.com. Tell us what you were doing and what happened. If CleanSweep crashed, attaching the crash log (see below) helps us find the cause.
Activity log and crash log
CleanSweep keeps its activity log, storage history and crash log in its app data folder on your PC. To open it, go to Settings → Open log folder.
- The activity log records every delete, clean and shred: what was removed, when, and why anything was skipped. It is tamper-evident, so you can tell if it was changed afterwards.
- The crash log holds technical details if the app crashes.
The activity log includes file paths, your Windows user name and your computer name. Check it before you share it with anyone.
Getting deleted files back
- Your own files go to the Recycle Bin. Open the Recycle Bin and restore them from there.
- Caches and temporary files are deleted permanently. The apps that made them rebuild them as needed.
- Shredded files (Pro) are overwritten on purpose and can't be recovered.
Managing or cancelling CleanSweep Pro
CleanSweep Pro is a subscription bought through the Microsoft Store, so Microsoft handles billing.
- Go to account.microsoft.com/services and sign in with the Microsoft account you used to subscribe.
- Find CleanSweep Pro and choose Manage.
- Choose Cancel subscription and follow the steps.
Billing and refund questions go through Microsoft, since the purchase is made in the Microsoft Store.
At work
If deleting or cleaning is unavailable, your organization may manage CleanSweep through Group Policy or Intune, for example in analyze-only or Recycle Bin–only mode, or with protected folders. Contact your IT department to change these settings.
